Cabrini

Born and raised in Guåhan, I’ve made it my goal to weave my love for home into the work I do. I currently serve as Project Director for the America’s Ecosystem Restoration Initiative (AERI) with Tano, Tasi, Todu helping lead conservation and Indigenous learning programs across the Mariana Islands since May 2026. I’m also a children’s book author, author and editor of Micronesian place-based textbooks for Guåhan, and a U.S. Department of State Young Pacific Leader. Most of my work blends conservation, storytelling, Indigenous knowledge, and creating opportunities for future generations to stay connected to their culture and environment. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in the ocean paddling or fishing, or on land spending time with family, playing music, and enjoying the beauty of the Marianas.

Ian

​I started working for Tano, Tasi, yan Todu on May 22, 2023 and am currently a Biological Field Technician at TTT. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science degree in Applied Biology at the University of Guam in 2022 and wanted to learn as well as experience working on a limestone forest with flora and fauna thus leading me to work on the i hålom tåno’ para I yo’åmte project. I have always been interested in the natural world and was influenced by educational channels such as animal planet and being exposed to outdoor activities like fishing, gardening and hiking as a child. ​

I was an intern for the Guam Green Growth cohort when learning about Tano, Tasi Yan Todu. I have been with the team for a year after interning and its such a pleasure to be learning and working in the limestone forest projects as a Biological Field Technician. Im a Guam kid, mainland adult, and island advocate. Twenty years away taught me what we have here—and six years back has me committed to protecting it. Tano Tasi yan Todu exists because this place is worth fighting for.

I am a Guåhan born and raised CHamoru nerd passionate about the ecology, evolution, and conservation of our native flora and their plant ecosystems. Growing up, I always found myself outside in nature and later became passionate about learning as much as I could about our native plants while I was in college. I joined TTT as their Lead Biologists in 2023 soon after getting my Masters in Environmental Science from the University of Guam. During this short time, I have since worked with the TTT team and partners for limestone forest restoration project at Taguan and the Threatened & Endangered species survey project at Anao.
